Form & Harbor Tap & Share Keychain

Quick Setup Instructions

Your keychain contains an NFC tag that can be programmed to share a website, digital business card, social media page, contact information, or almost any link you choose.

To program your keychain

  1. Download the free NFC Tools app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Open NFC Tools.

  3. Tap Write.

  4. Tap Add a record.

  5. Choose URL / URI.

  6. Paste the website, social media page, digital business card, or other link you want your keychain to open.

  7. Tap OK.

  8. Tap Write.

  9. Hold the top/back of your phone against the NFC area of the keychain until the app confirms the tag was written successfully.

  10. Close the app and tap your phone to the keychain to test it.

Important

Do not choose “Lock Tag” unless you are absolutely sure you never want to change the link. Once permanently locked, the NFC tag cannot be rewritten.

Changing Your Link

You can change what your keychain opens at any time. Simply reopen NFC Tools and write a new URL to the tag.

Sharing Your Information

The person tapping your keychain does not need the NFC Tools app. They simply tap their compatible smartphone to the keychain and follow the notification that appears.
